About Puentes Spanish Preschool
Our Facilities
Our facilities,
located at 1605 W. Overland Road in Boise, and at 4560 N. Maple
Grove in Boise, provide a safe and secure, fun and open
atmosphere
for preschool
learning. In addition
to the reading/storytelling room, arts & crafts room, and motor skills/manipulatives
area, we have a large, fenced outdoor play area. See our Photos
page for more details. Puentes Preschool Overland is easy to find, as it on the south west corner of Overland and Phillippi, and it has
easy freeway access. See
Map. Puentes Preschool Maple Grove is centrally located but
near West Boise, Hewlett Packard, Meridian, Garden City, and Eagle. See

Our Staff
Trudy McGavin (director)
has her B.S. in Math/Spanish Secondary Education, and M.S. in
Bilingual Education, is certified to teach Math and Spanish in
Idaho secondary schools 7-12, has taught foreign language methods
classes at the university level; has nearly 25 years of teaching
experience and develops the
curriculum for Puentes Language Programs. She
has near native fluency in Spanish for more than 30 years.

Magdalena Lorimor (preschool
teacher) has her degree in early childhood education from Colombia
and has nearly 15 years of
teaching experience with preschool and elementary-aged children.
She is a native Spanish speaker.
